Yale Study for Anxiety in Autism

Does Your Child Have Autism and Anxiety? The Yale Child Study Center is seeking participants for a study of cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety in children with high functioning autism.

  • Anxiety can include symptoms such as fears, feeling tense, being nervous or worrying too much.
  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy teaches strategies for dealing with anxiety and consists of 15 weekly sessions conducted with the child and his or her parent.

Participants receive free assessment, free therapy and up to $350 for participation.
