As our hopes turn to health and optimism, many of our own turn to healing, not only of body but also of mind. This year holds the promise of a wellness that we can all achieve together. A kind of bright clearing of our heads, starting right here in Connecticut.

That’s why we’re asking you to participate in NAMIWalks Your Way Connecticut: A United Day of Hope on Saturday, May 22.

Whether you've participated in our walk before or not, this year we need your support more than ever before. It's easy, it's fun, it's safe, and we've got tips and tools to make your efforts a success.

What can you do for NAMIWalks Your Way?

• Walk around the block with some friends
• Walk around your garden with your dog
• Hula hoop, yoga, stand on your head and fundraise upside down
• Decorate walking shoes and “sell” them to donors
• Form a virtual team with friends, colleagues, or family members
• Recite an original poem or share a NAMI story

Together we can let everyone affected by mental health conditions know that there is help, there is hope, and they are not alone.
